Black Friday is the number one shopping day of the year and it is quickly approaching! Retail locations are always looking for marketing ideas to make their sale stand out from the competitors and get customers through the doors. Jewelry stores are one of the most popular retail locations that contact US Weather Insurance on how to run a successful sales promotion to take full advantage of all the purchases made during the winter season. US Weather Insurance has worked with a number of jewelers to put together a profitable plan to drive traffic to their location while also rewarding their customers for purchasing their product.

Here’s how it works! First a jewelry store will contact US Weather Insurance with the idea of when they want to run the coverage. Usually the start date of the coverage is Black Friday and will run until the mid to end of December. We also have some stores that will only run the sales the weekend after Black Friday, forcing customers to make purchases early on in the shopping season in order to qualify for a pay back. Next the jeweler will decide on a recording date, this is a popular date that will stick out in consumers minds like Christmas Day or New Years Day. Once the date of the sales period and the recording date are decided US Weather Insurance will get some other simple information from the store like the location, estimated sales volume and the type of weather they want to insure.  From there US Weather Insurance will provide a number of options for the client to see which will work for their budget and send over a contract. The policy can be purchased up until a week before the start of the sales period. If you are a jewelry store or any retail location that would be interested in a sales promotion, please give us a call at 888-982-5488.
