When getting a quote with US Weather Insurance, you will be asked to require some important information about the event such as the date, time period the coverage is needed, the amount you want insured, and where the event is located. The location will play a big part in not only the overall price of the coverage but also how the event is monitored. US Weather Insurance will always offer three different ways to verify the weather for the promotion. With three different options, our customers can feel comfortable and confident that in the case inclement weather, they will be paid the amount covered.

The first and easiest way to monitor the weather the day of your promotion is the closest national weather station. This information is provided by US Weather Insurance and will be located in the claim verification on your quote. This option is also free of charge. The second option is to use a third party Doppler radar system; this is set up separately and has a daily fee. This option is mostly used by clients who are not located close to the national weather station. The third option is for the client to hire a independent weather observer. This person will typically come to your event and will have to be licensed and approved by US Weather Service. If you have questions regarding the claim verification ask you weather consultant on which option will work best for your event!
