US Weather Insurance :: Getting Started

Getting a quote for weather coverage is the first step to coverage. When a new client calls US Weather Insurance, there are a few specific factors our consultants will need in order to get a quote for coverage.  Once you have a date and location set for your event, you can get a quote for coverage.  Your consultant can offer a number of options as far as the time frame of coverage and the amount of rainfall you need to cover. Here is an idea of some of the questions your US Weather consultant will ask when calling for a quote.

–       What is the date of the event? – we can insure single day or mutli day events.

–       What hours do you need the coverage for?- this is  not necessarily the time frame of the event. Most policies will start 1-2 hours before the event starts to make sure that the weather won’t have a negative affect on the turnout.

–       Where is the event located?-  we need the city, state, and zip code of the event location, this will be used to determine past weather trends in that area.

–       How much do you want to cover?- this can be the amount you will loose due to inclement weather or the profits you expect to make during the event. This will be the full amount that US Weather will pay in the case of inclement weather.
